Surface
Treatment of Discoloured uPVC Windows
Before
Treatment
Discoloured uPVC windows can be easily rectified with Kolorbond®.
Firstly all non affected areas and surfaces are protected, i.e. glass,
brick and plants, with masking paper and plastic sheeting. All opening
windows are treated in to the reveal. These are opened slightly and
fully sealed around.

During
Treatment
The affected uPVC is cleaned down with Kolorbond® Vinykleen.
This product removes all dirt and grease. Kolorbond® Window
prep is then wiped on with a clean cloth. This product prepares the
uPVC for 'cross linking'. Finally the Kolorbond® material
is then applied directly onto your discoloured uPVC, by conventional
spray. Kolorbond® 'cross links' with the uPVC and cannot
be removed. It will only adhere to uPVC and other plastics. It does
not take to silicon seals etc, and can be easily removed.

After Treatment
Kolorbond® is fast drying and environmentally friendly. A swift
solution for repairing the surface of discoloured windows and doors.
An average house or conservatory can be treated in 1-2 days, causing
minimal disruption. All waste materials are removed and your property
is left as we found it, only with whiter uPVC and a new 10 year guarantee.
