Made with hyperlon and hyperlast in mind
Developed with marine craft in mind, our Hypakolor paint is made especially to work with flexible rubber based substrates such as Hyperlon and Hyperlast. These are the materials commonly used in the inflatable “ribs” and other inshore boats, dinghies etc.
Extreme durability
The main attraction of using Hypakolor on inflatable water craft and boats is its extreme durability, lightfast finish and abrasion resistance.
Easy to apply
Easy to apply using a single pack process, the paint bonds to the surface, becoming part of it and flexing with it, so the craft can be deflated and stored or transported without deterioration. It won’t crack, peel or flake and is highly resistant to surface damage.
Hard wearing
It’s ease of use and hard wearing properties have made it popular in defence applications. Hypakolor has been used on rigid hull inflatable boats, small patrol craft and other inflatable boats used worldwide in military, civil, rescue and patrol applications.
There’s probably no greater endorsement of Hypakolor’s assets than that shown by its use in these demanding roles and environments.
Ideal for rubberised substrates
Hypakolor is also ideal for use on other rubberised substrates and surfaces such as non-slip flooring, mats etc, due to its colourfast, resilient nature.
Please note
Available from as little as 1 litre (covers approx 4 square meters) it can be applied by aerosol and air (or airless) spray gun in a few light coats.
